| 正面描述 | The obverse is dominated by a large intaglio-style vignette of a Type 206A submarine rendered in deep violet-maroon tones against a multicolour guilloche underprint in lavender and yellow. At upper left, the Technik Museen Sinsheim Speyer logo appears alongside a miniature European Union flag, with the large numeral '0' denomination at centre-left and the bold inscription 'DAS U-BOOT 17' over the figure '17' in the central field. The serial number appears at lower right beneath a facsimile signature of R. Faille, C.E.O., with 'EURO SOUV ENIR' in a stacked cartouche at lower left. |

| 备注 |
The U-17 is one of the few surviving Type 206A submarines operated by the German Bundesmarine, and Sinsheim acquired it in 2003 after a complex overland transport — the boat was moved by road through several towns, a logistical operation that drew considerable public attention. Oberthur Fiduciaire, which has produced the bulk of the European zero-euro souvenir series since the format launched around 2015, printed this note to the same security specifications as genuine euro currency, including the embedded security thread.
The zero-euro souvenir note has no legal tender status anywhere in the eurozone.
