Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of France's principal security printers and a longtime supplier to multiple central banks, handles the majority of the series, giving these collector pieces genuine security substrate and printing quality.

Flamenco as a subject dates the note's appeal squarely to the Spanish tourism and cultural souvenir market. Designer Elon González is one of the more prolific contributors to the 0 Euro program.
