Opmerkingen

EuroSouvenir notes are a French-origin collector scheme launched around 2015, licensing the euro banknote format for tourist and commemorative souvenirs — legal under EU rules provided they carry a zero denomination. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of Europe's major security printers, handles production for much of the series, which explains the consistent print quality across otherwise eclectic subjects.

Matúš Čák Trenčianský was a 13th–14th century Hungarian magnate who controlled a vast territory across present-day western Slovakia from Trenčín Castle — at his peak, effectively an independent ruler within a fractured kingdom. A reasonable choice for Slovak-market souvenir retail, though the note has no issuing authority in any meaningful sense.
