Eurosuvenir notes occupy a peculiar niche — legal in the sense that the zero denomination creates no conflict with ECB regulations, but purely commemorative in practice, never intended to function as money. Oberthur Fiduciaire prints the series to full security-note standards regardless, using the same Chamalières facility responsible for genuine French and African franc production.
The Oceanographic Museum in Monaco was founded by Prince Albert I in 1910. It has housed Jacques Cousteau as its director for thirty-one years — a fact that still defines the institution's public identity more than a century after its founding.
