Karting Vuiteboeuf is a go-kart track in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. This zero-franc piece is a fantasie note — a privately commissioned novelty with no redemption value — produced by Oberthur Fiduciaire, the same French security printer responsible for banknotes issued by the Banque Nationale Suisse and dozens of African central banks. The choice of a serious fiduciary printer for what amounts to a promotional souvenir is the one genuinely curious thing about it.
