Obverse description Printed in reddish-brown on plain paper, the obverse carries a central vignette of a standing figure beside an urn or column, framed by the circular inscription LA PROVINCIA DE BUENOS AYRES. The denomination 1000 appears in large numerals at each upper corner, with the legend MIL PESOS MONEDA CORRIENTE in bold letterpress across the lower register. Two manuscript signatures appear at the foot, one to the left and one to the right labeled Presidente, with the note number in manuscript at upper right; a handwritten political slogan runs along the very top edge.
