| Obverse description | A lion depicted in dynamic posture, pouncing upon and attacking its prey, rendered in low relief in the naive or provincial style characteristic of Georgian hammered copper coinage. The beast is shown in profile, its forelimbs extended over the subdued prey beneath it, occupying the majority of the irregular flan. The design is executed with bold, somewhat crude strokes typical of hand-engraved dies of the period, with the field largely unadorned. |

| Reverse description | Persian-script legend arranged in two or three horizontal lines across the field, reading 'Fulus, struck in Tiflis' (فلس ضرب تفلس) with the AH date 1148 (corresponding to 1735 AD) rendered in abjad or numeral form below. The inscription is set within a plain, unbordered field on an irregularly shaped flan, consistent with hammered copper coinage of the Kingdom of Kartli. The lettering is bold but somewhat worn and unevenly struck due to the hand-hammered technique. |
