| Obverse description | Red-brown intaglio print on plain paper. Portrait vignette of King Faisal I at right, rendered in fine engraved detail. Arabic inscriptions occupy the centre field, including the denomination نصف دينار, with a large oval guilloche underprint at left serving as the watermark window.
