| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse of this Haitian-adapted Peruvian 4 Reales host coin presents a right-facing draped bust of Ferdinand VII, King of Spain, rendered in the neoclassical portrait style typical of Lima Mint coinage of the period. The royal effigy is surrounded by a Latin legend identifying the monarch by name and divine right. The date 1815 appears as part of the host coin's original legend, establishing the upper boundary of the host coin date range. A central hole, punched as the Haitian countermark, penetrates the field adjacent to the bust. |
