| Reverse description | Central shield bearing the arms of Monaco — a lozenge-patterned field (fusilly in pale argent and gules) — surmounted by a princely crown with visible arches and fleurs-de-lis finials. A horizontal banderole across the shield's centre bears a motto. The date 1652 appears within the circular Latin legend, which is distributed around the beaded border of the field. The overall composition is heraldic and symmetrical, consistent with baroque Monegasque coinage of the period. |
