| Reverse description | The reverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line Devanagari legend arranged in a cruciform or block pattern across the coin's face, giving the full royal titulature of King Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah Dev. The inscription is rendered in bold, deeply incised Devanagari characters characteristic of the hammered coinage of the Kathmandu Mint. A raised inner circle frames the legend, while the outer border consists of a continuous ring of raised beads, consistent with the obverse treatment and typical of late 19th-century Nepalese gold coinage. |
