Three small stars are interspersed between the legs in the field. The encircling legend reads QUOCUNQUE · IECERIS · STABIT (Wheresoever you throw it, it will stand), the traditional motto of the Isle of Man, disposed around the periphery in evenly spaced capital letters. The denomination I D 1/2 appears in the lower field beneath the triskelion. |
