Obverse description The Bagrationi dynastic coat of arms occupies the central field, rendered in a schematic hammered style characteristic of Georgian copper coinage of the period. The composition features a royal crown surmounting a shield-like arrangement of regal symbols, including a balance (scales of justice), an orb (globe), a scepter, and a sword. The design elements are arranged vertically within the irregular flan, with the crown prominently placed at the top. The overall execution is bold but somewhat crude, reflecting the hand-struck technique and utilitarian nature of this small-denomination issue. The field is uneven with no surrounding legend.
