Obverse description Central field bearing a four-line royal Burmese legend in Mon-Burmese script, arranged within a plain inner circle. The legend records the regnal authority of King Bodawpaya. The entire design is enclosed by a prominent beaded border running along the coin's periphery, characteristic of late Konbaung dynasty coinage.
