| Reverse description | A ceiba tree occupies the center of the reverse field, flanked by the fractional denomination value divided on either side of the trunk. A patriotic motto encircles the central device in the outer legend. In the lower portion of the field, the mint mark NG (Nueva Guatemala) appears alongside the assayer's initial M and the silver fineness designation 10D•20G, indicating a standard of approximately 0.902 fine silver. The design reflects the iconographic conventions of early Federal Republic of Central America coinage. |
