| Opis rewersu | Central field features a conch shell (shankha), a sacred Hindu symbol, depicted in relief at the centre of the design, with Devanagari inscriptions arranged in horizontal registers above and below, divided by incuse lines. The royal epithet 'Simha Dev' appears in the upper register, while the Nepal Sambat date '835' (corresponding to 1715 CE) is inscribed in Devanagari numerals in the lower register. The whole is surrounded by a beaded border consistent with the hammered coinage tradition of the Kathmandu Valley kingdoms. |
