1/4 Mohar - Prithvi Bir Bikram

正面描述	Central field divided by two horizontal lines forming a tablet containing Devanagari inscriptions in three registers. The Nepalese Vikrama Samvat date 1933 (= 1911 AD) appears in the lower register. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's periphery. The inscription reads 'Sri Sri' at top, with the king's name and title in the central band.

附加信息	Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah died in December 1911 at age 35, having reigned since 1881 almost entirely under the political shadow of the Rana prime ministers who held actual power. This quarter mohar was struck during the final year of his reign, when Jung Bahadur Rana's successors still controlled the treasury and mint. The Shahs would not begin reasserting meaningful royal authority for decades.
