The right half carries the payment text in Gothic blackletter script on a plain field, with the denomination 'Eine Mark Fünfzig Pfennig' set apart in a red-bordered cartouche. The lower margin bears the imprint of the issuing authority 'Stadtkasse' and the printer's name. |

The vignette is framed by an Art Nouveau border in red and cream with stylised floral and foliate motifs at the corners, and the numeral '1.50' appears in a cartouche at the top centre. A caption below the vignette identifies the scene, and a poetic motto in Gothic script runs along the lower margin. |
