| Obverse description | Central device depicting a lulav (palm branch) flanked on each side by an etrog (citron fruit), rendered in a schematic, hand-engraved style characteristic of the Jewish revolt coinage. The lulav rises vertically from the lower field, its fronds spreading symmetrically. The two etrogs are positioned at the base of the lulav, one to either side. An ancient Hebrew (paleo-Hebrew script) legend surrounds the central motif, reading שנת ארבע (Year Four), referring to the fourth year of the Great Revolt against Rome. |

| Reverse description | Central device depicting a chalice or goblet with a broad, beaded or pearled rim and a short stem resting on a flat base, rendered in the crude, hand-cut style typical of Year Four revolt bronzes. The cup is shown in elevation, centrally placed within the field. A paleo-Hebrew inscription encircles the central motif, reading לגאלת ציון (To the Redemption of Zion), a nationalistic declaration reflecting the ideological character of the revolt coinage. The overall fabric is irregular and the flan shows typical hammered roughness. |
