| 备注 |
The Amero is a fictional currency proposed by fringe commentators and conspiracy theorists who claimed the United States, Canada, and Mexico would merge their monetary systems — a scenario that has no basis in any actual government policy. This note is a privately produced novelty item, not a legal tender instrument issued by any recognized authority. The "Union of North America" has never existed as a governing body.
Tom Stebbins produced several Amero designs that circulated widely as collector curiosities in the late 2000s and beyond. The polymer substrate and OVD are genuine security features, which is precisely what makes these pieces interesting to handle — real production craft applied to a fictitious issuer.
