Reverse description A dolphin depicted in a sweeping curve, coiled to the right with its tail curving upward, occupying the majority of the reverse field. The Oscan legend LADINOD, rendered in Latin characters and meaning 'of Larinum' (genitive form), appears horizontally below the dolphin. Two pellets, denoting the denomination of two unciae, are placed beneath the legend in the lower field. The overall composition is typical of South Italian bronze coinage of this era.
