Obverse description Printed in brown on a light blue guilloche underprint, the obverse carries an intaglio portrait vignette of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a crown, set within a circular frame at right. To the left, a corresponding circular vignette bears large Chinese numerals (壹分) within an intricate lathe-work pattern, with denomination numerals '1c' appearing at the lower left corner. The central field carries bilingual legal tender text in English and Chinese (香港政府), with the denomination 'ONE CENT' in bold letterpress, accompanied by the printed signature of the Financial Secretary below.
