Ornate guilloche panels bearing a large numeral '1' flank the central vignette on both sides, with the bank title 'EL BANCO SALVADOREÑO' arched across the top cartouche and the legend 'PAGARÁ A LA VISTA AL PORTADOR' below it. The denomination 'UN COLON' appears in large letterpress text along the lower portion, with the place and date of issue 'SAN SALVADOR, 1º DE JUNIO DE 1920' and 'SERIE A' printed at the sides. |
