| Beschrijving keerzijde | A royal crown is displayed prominently at the centre of the field, positioned above two crossed regalia — a sword and a sceptre — arranged saltire-wise. Flanking the central devices are two stylised thistles, the national emblem of Scotland, one to each side. The circumferential Latin legend QUAE DEUS CONIUNXIT NEMO SEPARET encircles the design, translating as 'What God has joined, no one shall separate.' The date 1808 is divided across the lower field, and the word SCOTLAND appears at the base of the reverse, framed by asterisks. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
This is a modern Scottish token or fantasy piece — George III issued no copper crowns, and Scotland had no independent coinage authority during his reign. The Royal Mint in London held that monopoly. Without verified issuer documentation, the provenance of this piece warrants scrutiny before cataloging as a legitimate issue.
