| Reverse description | Central field features a multi-line Arabic inscription set within a raised square cartouche framed by double-ruled borders, containing religious formulae and mint or regnal references consistent with Ottoman Algerian coinage of the AH 991-995 period. Marginal Arabic legends in a smaller hand fill the irregular space surrounding the cartouche on all sides. The overall layout mirrors the obverse in its formal, epigraphic character, with the hammered strike producing slightly uneven relief across the flan. |
