| 正面描述 | The national coat of arms is centred on the obverse, flanked by a vignette of the Scarlet Ibis (Eudocimus ruber), the national bird of Trinidad and Tobago. The national flag is shown unfurling to the right, rendered in vivid colour against the polymer substrate. Denomination numerals and issuer inscription frame the design in the upper and lower registers. |

| 备注 |
Trinidad and Tobago made the switch to polymer for its lower denominations over the course of the 2010s, with De La Rue's SAFEGUARD® substrate gradually replacing cotton-paper across the series. The 2020 dating on this note reflects a continuation of that rollout rather than a redesign — the note retains the same imagery introduced when polymer was first adopted for the denomination.
SAFEGUARD® notes from this series are known to retain ink adhesion poorly in tropical humidity over extended circulation, a practical irony given the Caribbean climate they were engineered to withstand.
