Scrip issued by a regional numismatic club — the Club Numismatique Mauricie, based in the Mauricie region of Quebec — for use at club events, typically annual shows or swap meets where it functions as trade currency among members. This practice of producing collectible scrip was common among Canadian numismatic clubs through the 1990s and into the early 2000s, partly as a fundraising tool and partly as a collectible object in its own right.
Printed locally by Image Concept in Pointe-du-Lac, a small municipality that has since been absorbed into Trois-Rivières following the 2002 municipal mergers.
