| Obverse description | The obverse retains the standard Morgan Dollar reverse design, repurposed here as the primary face of this fantasy hobo coin. A heraldic bald eagle with wings displayed occupies the central field, its head turned to the right, clutching an olive branch and a bundle of arrows in its talons. A shield is superimposed on the eagle's breast, and above it appears the motto IN GOD WE TRUST in Gothic lettering on a scroll. The peripheral legend reads UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, with ONE DOLLAR at the base flanked by stars, and the San Francisco mintmark S visible below the eagle. |
