Opmerkingen

Something is wrong with this listing. The United States has not issued Silver Certificates since Series 1957B — the legal authority for them was effectively ended by the Silver Purchase Act repeal in 1963 and silver redemption was suspended entirely by 1968. A 2024-dated U.S. Silver Certificate printed in Luzern by a Swiss commercial printer does not correspond to any known federal issue, emergency currency, or authorized commemorative program.

This is either a fantasy note, a novelty item, or a cataloging error. It should not be inventoried as a genuine U.S. government obligation without documentation of issuing authority.
