| Obverse description | Central field displays the Royal Coat of Arms of Greece, featuring a quartered shield bearing a white Greek cross on a blue field, draped by an ermine-lined royal mantle and surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is supported on both sides by elaborate mantling with tasselled cords. A scroll beneath the shield bears a Greek motto. The circumferential legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΙΟΝ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 ΔΡΑΧΜΗ appears along the lower periphery, all within a continuous beaded border. |
