The central field carries a salmon-toned text underprint repeating "TERRITOIRE DU CAMEROUN" in diagonal lines, over which the issuer title and denomination are printed in bold type. A crowned "TC" monogram medallion is set within decorative scrollwork at the top center, and the engraver's imprint "L. LECLERC" appears at the lower right.
