Fleischman. The central text block carries the denomination and payment obligation in Dutch, arranged in a typographic layout typical of early colonial emergency currency. The note includes provision for manuscript or printed signature varieties within the body of the text.

备注

The 1827 Curaçao gulden is among the earliest paper money issues traceable to the Dutch Caribbean. At the time, Curaçao operated under a restored Dutch colonial administration — Britain had returned the island in 1816 after occupying it during the Napoleonic period — and the local economy relied heavily on trade credit and specie, making paper instruments both practical and contentious.

Plomp catalogues this as PLNA1.2, suggesting at least a second variant within the earliest known series, though surviving examples are extremely rare and documentation on the original issuing authority remains fragmentary.
