Reverse description Plain copper field displaying a two-line Jawi Arabic inscription reading 'سات كڤڠ' (Satu Keping, meaning 'One Keping'), with the Arabic-Indic numeral '١' (one) placed at the top of the field above the legend. The Hijri date '١٢٥١' (AH 1251, corresponding to 1836 CE) is inscribed in large Arabic-Indic numerals across the lower portion of the field. Small diamond-shaped lozenge ornaments flank the inscription as decorative separators. The periphery is bounded by a reeded or milled border, in contrast to the beaded border of the obverse. The bold, deeply cut Jawi lettering is consistent in style with the obverse, reflecting the standardised calligraphic conventions of Malay sultanate token coinage.
