| Descrizione del rovescio | An ornamental border encloses two circular medallions, the left bearing a portrait of Roman Emperor Trajan and the right that of Dacian king Decebal, both facing inward, each surmounted by the denomination and the BNR monogram. At the top centre of the border, the crowned coat of arms of Romania — supported by two rampant lions and bearing the motto NIHIL SINE DEO on a ribbon — rests on an architrave in Brâncovenesc (Wallachian Renaissance) style.
