Opmerkingen

The 1 Lipa was issued in 1989 as part of Slovenia's provisional currency series, produced before the republic had formally declared independence — these notes circulated briefly as a transitional instrument during the political fracture of Yugoslavia. The lipa itself was a subdivision unit that never achieved lasting traction; when Slovenia introduced the tolar as its independent currency in October 1991, the lipa denominations were effectively rendered obsolete almost immediately.

Surviving examples from genuine circulation are harder to find than the print run would suggest.
