At centre, the denomination لیرة واحدة (One Livre) is inscribed in bold Arabic script above a serial number, with multiline Arabic text stating the date of issue as 1 October 1930 and the redemption terms. Two manuscript signatures appear below the Arabic text, flanked by a large blank oval cartouche at left and geometric cornerpiece vignettes. The upper panel carries the bank name بنك كبير in Arabic, with serial number repeated at the lower corners. |
