Opmerkingen

Türkmenistan's 2025 manat series represents a continuing refinement of the currency family first overhauled in 2009, when the country redenominated at 5,000 old manat to 1 new manat — one of the more dramatic resets in post-Soviet Central Asian monetary history. The Central Bank has periodically updated individual denominations in the years since, with fresh security specifications rolled out incrementally rather than as a wholesale reissue.

P#48 is a recent enough addition that secondary market data remains thin. Worth monitoring for any printing variants, as Türkmenistan's notes have occasionally surfaced with undocumented signature changes between print runs.
