Obverse description Central shield bearing the Estonian national coat of arms, featuring three passant leopard-lions arranged in pale, rendered in bold relief. The shield is flanked on either side by symmetrical sprays of oak branches with acorns and lobed leaves, meeting at the base to form a wreath. The entire design is contained within a raised beaded border encircling the coin's field. No legend appears on the obverse.

Reverse description Large numeral '1' prominently centered in the field, with the denomination 'MARK' inscribed directly below in bold capital letters. A continuous beaded border frames the design.
