To the right, a text panel in Gothic blackletter script states the issuing authority and the payment order, with the denomination 'Eine Mark' printed in large red Gothic letters on a hatched ribbon cartouche; the place name 'Bad Doberan' appears below alongside a manuscript authorisation signature.
