| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse of this Ambergau Notgeld is laid out in a tripartite horizontal composition with teal-and-cream corner ornaments. At centre, a heraldic vignette occupies a framed panel, presenting a crested coat of arms with a winged helmet above a quartered shield rendered in ochre and red, surrounded by baroque acanthus scrollwork; a serial number appears above the vignette. Two flanking yellow panels carry moralising German verses in Gothic blackletter script. A lower text band in Gothic type contains the redemption clause naming the issuer, with a decorative border running the full perimeter of the note. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse carries a large central portrait vignette of Wilhelm Busch, the German caricaturist and poet, rendered as a colour photographic reproduction showing a three-quarter bust view of the elderly, white-bearded subject in formal dark attire against a blue-grey ground. The denomination is inscribed in an ochre cartouche at the top in ornate Gothic blackletter script, and the subject's name appears in a matching ochre panel at the foot. A geometric border with small triangular ornaments in teal frames the composition on all four sides. |
