Obverse description Central circular field bearing a stylized image of the Pashupatinath temple facade rendered in Ranjana script characters and symbolic architectural motifs, depicting the multi-tiered pagoda structure with vertical striations representing the temple columns and roof layers. Surrounding the central medallion is a decorative border of eight cartouches, each enclosing individual Ranjana script syllables or deity symbols, arranged symmetrically around the circumference. The outermost border features a continuous beaded or dotted rim in keeping with the hammered coinage tradition of the Kathmandu Valley. The overall design is characteristic of the religious and artistic conventions of the Malla period, combining devotional iconography with royal epigraphic elements. The workmanship reflects the hand-struck technique typical of Nepalese silver mohars of the early eighteenth century.
