| Obverse description | Central device depicts a peacock displayed in full fan, shown in profile standing upon a decorative pedestal, its elaborate tail feathers spread symmetrically and rendered in fine relief. Burmese script legends flank the peacock on both sides within the field. The coin border is defined by a continuous beaded inner circle. The peacock, a royal symbol of the Konbaung Dynasty, is rendered in a stylized artistic tradition consistent with Burmese court iconography of the mid-19th century. |
