| Description de l’avers | Crude facing bust of King Sweyn Forkbeard rendered in a stylized, archaic manner, contained within an inner beaded circle. The royal effigy displays schematic facial features characteristic of late Viking-Age Scandinavian die-cutting. A circumferential legend in uncial Latin letters reads '+ DEnEr rEX AnGLO', identifying the king as Rex Anglorum, separated from the central design by the inner beaded ring. A further beaded ring frames the outer edge of the coin, typical of the hammered penny coinage of the period. |

| Description du revers | A small voided or pattee cross occupies the central field, set within an inner beaded circle in the manner of contemporary Anglo-Saxon penny types that served as models for this Scandinavian coinage. The surrounding annular field carries the moneyer's inscription in Latin uncial lettering, reading '+ OZCETIL OLVNICI', identifying the moneyer responsible for the issue. A second beaded ring runs along the periphery of the flan, completing the design in a style closely imitative of English penny conventions of the late tenth and early eleventh centuries. |
