The bust displays schematic drapery and a rudimentary crown or diadem, with facial features reduced to abstracted forms characteristic of late Hiberno-Norse die-cutting. The flat, worn relief of the cross and concentric border arrangement are characteristic of the Anonymous Small Cross type. |
