| Descripción del reverso | Central field dominated by the word FURNISHING in bold capital letters, with BUILDERS & arranged above in a curved legend and IRONMONGERY below in a similarly curved inscription. The words ECONOMY HOUSE appear prominently along the upper peripheral arc and HIGH STREET along the lower arc, all separated by a reeded inner border. A stylised saw or tool motif appears in the lower central field, consistent with the firm's trade in ironmongery and builders' supplies. The overall design is plain and functional, characteristic of New Zealand provincial trade tokens of the second half of the nineteenth century. |
