| 备注 |
Les is a tiny municipality in the Val d'Aran, and like hundreds of Catalan and Aragonese towns during the early months of the Spanish Civil War, its local council issued emergency small-denomination paper when metallic coinage vanished almost overnight in the summer of 1936. The Turró catalog documents over a thousand such issues; this one, printed by Josep Güell in La Pobla de Segur — a commercial job printer, not a security press — reflects exactly how improvised the whole system was.
Official stamp was the only anti-counterfeiting measure deemed necessary. In a town of a few hundred people, everyone knew everyone's money.
