Obverse description Draped bust of Liberty facing left, wearing a diadem inscribed LIBERTAD, with flowing hair tied at the nape and a small earring visible. The bust is rendered in moderate relief with fine detail on the hair and drapery. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE LA NUEVA GRANADA runs around the upper periphery, while the date appears in the lower exergual area. The field is smooth and the design is framed by a beaded inner border.
