| 备注 |
The Philippine National Bank's Negros Occidental emergency issues of 1941 were produced under genuine wartime duress. Following the Japanese invasion, several provincial branches were authorized to issue their own emergency currency independently, as the Manila central operations became inaccessible. The Bacolod branch was among the most prolific of these issuers, and Negros Occidental's notes circulated alongside those from other provinces in a fragmented, improvised monetary system that lasted until Japanese military scrip was forcibly imposed.
The S6xx series from this branch is reasonably documented, but individual denominations vary considerably in surviving quantity. Provincial paper from this period was printed on whatever stock was locally available, and quality is accordingly inconsistent across the series.
