The central field carries the promise text PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK / WILL PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND above the denomination ONE PESO and the clause IN LAWFUL CURRENCY OF THE PHILIPPINES, with the imprint ILOILO CURRENCY COMMITTEE below; corner numerals and serial number appear in red. Three manuscript signatures with their respective titles appear at the foot of the note.
