| 裏面の説明 | Left-facing draped bust of Liberty occupies the central field, her hair loosely arranged and adorned with a laurel sprig. Small floral ornaments appear on either side of the bust. The legend 15 DE SETIEMBRE DE 1821, commemorating Central American independence, arcs around the upper portion of the coin, while CENTRO AMERICA is inscribed in the lower exergual area. The overall design is characteristic of the Central American republican coinage tradition of the 19th century. |
